As you might guess from its name, the Villa Hemingway House in Barbados takes design some cues from the equally charming Key West, Florida property where the world-famous author once resided. Yet, this four-bedroom gem has amenities and services that Hemingway himself might only have dreamt about. Sitting directly on the sands, it is located between Mullins and Gibbs Beaches on Barbados.

Designed by architect Larry Warren, the two-story property offers unprecedented sea views from upper and lower level terraces, but you can also savour the scenery from the many vantage points tucked into the private gardens...
